Ofsted text“Children are developing a good awareness of others and valuing differences through a variety of resources and activities that raise their awareness of diversity”
(Ofsted, 2011)

As part of our commitment to ensuring that all children are offered a full range of activities and learning, we operate a system whereby each child is allocated a member of staff to be their “Key Person” (and also a back-up Key Person) during their time at Puffin.  This person will be particularly concerned with collecting and completing their Learning Journey records to ensure that they are covering all aspects of the early years curriculum.

It is often easier for a parent to have a named member of staff to contact if they wish to discuss their child’s progress in confidence, or to share any concerns.  All information is kept confidential.  At the end of your child’s time at Puffin, you will be given their records of achievement in the form of a booklet, which we would encourage you to share with their new setting or school.
